Thankful for....
I'm thankful for music. Anytime I listen to music I feel better. When lyrics seem like there made for me at the moment it makes me feel respected. I know someone out there feels the same way I do. Someone writers don't know but they save my life everyday. I mean days when I don't feel like getting out of bed I turn on some music and feel much better. So when lyrics seem like they were made just for me I it makes my day much better.

the positive effect/ impact cnn have on us was the news being broad casted 24 hours. This was positive because we need to know what's going around the world. Yes, we have other news channels; but the fact that we have news for 24 hours has change Philadelphia and other places around world dramatically. After people scoffed Ted Tuners idea they felt bad because the Gulf War had a negative effect on us. This meant we needed this innovation. The fact that people need news is one thing, but to have news.

Until CNN(1980) news was only broad casted an hour, three times a day. A half hour consisted of local news and another half hour consisted national news.
~Let people watch news anytime of the day. This benefited people in many ways, such as when news unfolded they had easy access.
'The CNN effect" helped everyone; in less then a year 93 million people had access to it.
The first Gulf War(1990-1991), the CNN channel was the only American station able to broadcast live reports directly from Iraq. CNN ratings went flying up.

ANNOTATIONS PART 2
I have visited places such as the Constitution center. The Constitution center provided information on Ted Turner and CNN(also his other stations such as TNT etc. etc).
The Internet, the library, and watching the show myself has given me a better view. Google, has given information on the date and what people like to call "sister stations." As I watched the show I learned how the people "perform" I got information on sports, the weather, and many other things...

CNN: The Public's Informer On Current Events
The CNN channel was launched on June 1, 1980. It was the first channel to have the news broad casted 24-hours a day. It gave people a chance to know what was going on in the world all day, later on people started mimicking this and more channels like CNN were launched.

DO SOMETHING...... BEING A BULLY OR HARMLESS FUN
On www.dosomething.com there was a poll on the movie ''Mean Girls" and the question was bulling or harmless fun? I believed it was bullying and I was correct. There is a major difference between bullying and fun. Harmless fun could be just joking aroud with a friend. An example of bullying would be putting someone down or trying to control them.

HOMEWORK SEPTEMBER 29, 2009
I would like to take part in many things. One of the main things I would like to do is the cancer walk. Many people in my family battled with many different types of cancer. I would also like to feed the homeless. I would like to take part in helping people less fortunate then me. Finally I would like to walk for HIV because I would like to help raise money for a deadly disease. By taking action I believe it would make make me a better person and benefit someone else.

MY BILL OF RIGHTS
1) We should be able to listen to music all the time(with headphones) unless the teacher is giving instructions.
2) Students shouldn't have homework on the weekends.(we need at least two days to process what we have learned throughout the week).
3) We should be able to explain ourselves without being rudely interrupted by the teacher.

The Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights
1) The Bill of Rights are rules that people all over the United States have to follow.
2) One of the most important rights that I have is the freedom of speech. I LOVE to talk and I know that no one has the ability to take me freedom of speech away. Another right I'm glad to have is the right to vote. Back in the day women weren't able to vote, so women have come a long way. Finally, I believe that a right to a with a jury, is another important amendment. Even though, I don't plan on being in trouble with the law, I love the fact that I won't be convicted without trail and witnesses is a fair way to judge if I'm guilty or innocent.
3) Over the past 200 years many things have change. One of the most important thing that has changed is our voting system. You no longer have to be Caucasian, rich, or just a male to be eligible to vote.
4) I believe the only bill of right that is missing is gay marriage. I believe this should be accepted because you can't control who you fall in love with.

my personality
1) what is your type?
I am an ENFJ, Extraverted which means I'm outgoing(89%). I'm iNtuitive which means I'm a little shy(12%). 12 percent of my personality is based on my Feelings. Finally, 11 percent of my personality is based on Judging.
BASED ON PERSONALITY
I believe the meaning of personality is to create certain characteristics about yourself. It also means to express yourself in a way that only you can describe. Your personality makes you distinct from others. It tells people that you're an original and more unique then anyone else. Your personality can be good or bad. Our choices change based on our personailty.
Our personality effects the way that we look at situations. Just today, in Mr. Brasof's room we discussed if we think violent video games make people murder. Since we all have different personalities we all have different point of views. Therefore, our ability to think or act for ourselves can change from person to person, or age to age. However, no matter what our personality already makes us believe we're automatically correct.

FEVER 1793
Fever 1793, was an awesome book. The main character was Matilda Cook. She faces a lot of obstacles. Through out the story she matures from a child to a young adult. In the beginning Matilda loved to run away from work and responsibilities.
Later in the book Matilda shows that she fears nothing. She eventually accepts responsibilities and hard work. Matilda has learned the value of life, respect, and hard work. She also learns how to care for herself and others.
I admire Matilda's strengths and weakness'. Of course Nell was a strength she taught Matilda how to care for others and not to be self- centered. It's just like caring for a younger sibling. In many ways I can relate to Matilda caring for Nell.
I strongly recommend this book to teens, it opens your eyes to life. It teaches morals and it gives you a new look at the way you live.
