The CNN channel was launched on June 1,1980 by Ted Turner. This channel helped us

 in many ways. For instance, the Gulf War(1990-1991), the CNN channel was the only channel that was able to interact within Iraq. The CNN channel was the first channel to have news available for 24- hours a day, 7 days a week. People have news at hand whenever they need it.
